I love bedtime with Nemo, I hate leaving the room and just like to stay with him, stroking his hair.

I am a soft tart.

Sorry Alice, grin was to the Oirish bird.

You do have a lot of carbs there....... Is it worth googling for ideas? The salad sarnie is ok but dinners are very carby. Not that that's a word!!

Sorry poor little F is struggling with colic. I have walked many a mile across the living room floor with DD.

It only lasted 2/3 weeks but it was torture. xx

SAF - I still do 'night night' with DD and she's 11. And the 'I love you's as I leave and go down the stairs.

Not cheesy at all. As there is just the two of you, you must miss him once the house falls quiet. As much as you need your space and need the peace.

I used to ask DD to sleep inmy bed some nights. Just to snuggle. Smile

Hello, I bet you are all tucked up now aren't you?

We (me and DS) always sing 'your baby has gone down the plughole' to DD after she gets out of the bath, then DD goes to bed with her milk and I snuggle with DS in my bed for a couple of chapters of story.

Then I have to be 'bedtime pony' and give him a piggy back to bed while singing 'I'm a bedtime pony' (don't ask Blush)

Then I have to make Bear have a chat with DS before bed.

Tonight DS reminded me to 'Hide the biscuits safe, Mummy, so I can't steal them'. Grin

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 15/09/2010 23:08

I'll take that as a yes then.

Nighty Night xx

I'm more in the double school of bedtime routine - usually ' back to your room. now!!"

alice - I would double check on a good bfing site like kellymom re:colic and your diet or even pop a thread on bfing section here. have never heard that about starch and colic before.....I dunno, it just doesn't sound very intuitive iyswim that breastfeeding has been around for millenia, surely a few biscuits wouldn't screw things up....

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 16/09/2010 08:32

A quick good morning to you lovely people, will be back properly after the school run xx
