First period after DC2......TMI!!

My first period since DD2 was born (nearly 7 months ago) started on Thursday. Started off just like a normal period but quickly got really heavy.......had to send DH to sainsburys for maternity towels and 4 days in am still soaking through them every hour. I've had some clots but they're pretty small.

There's a constant dribble of blood and big gushes too (usually when I stand up from sitting)..........told you it was TMI

Anyone else have a similar experience? I certainly didn't have this after DD1 so not sure if I should be getting worried or not!

Oh, and I did have a PPH after the birth so not sure if it could be related to that in any way?

I dont know what pph is but my period after dc4 at 8 months was like the one you are having.The next one was also fairly heavy but the 3rd was more like my old period iykwim.Hope this helps.

I've found that for the first year after periods start after having kids they've been really heavy for the first two or three days. Nights were the worst usually ending up running for the bathroom with blood gushing down my leg (sorry if TMI) They have settled down now luckily!
