Hello, my name is HamsterPoo and I am too tired to think of anything sensible to say, but tomorrow I will be tireder because i am going to cycle 16 miles or so.
What should I have for breakfast?

mittz · 02/09/2010 21:02

You should have Granola.. of the Jordans variety that has yummy blueberries and stuff innit.

Slow release carbs.. calleedd.. ummmmmm.. ermmmmm Low GI... will do ya a link tomorrow. It's all good stuff.

And lots of water. Take a snack like nuts to keep giving your blood sugar a kick. A sugary drink maybe.

mittz · 02/09/2010 21:06

oh and I am tired also...

always good for talking a bit of nonsense.. Edward lear was a bit of a Nonsense dude.

HamsterPoo · 02/09/2010 21:08

Oh...I don't have any granola. I have cornflakes-that-nobody-else-is-eating. And mixed seeds and goji berries.

Does the Jordans granola have wheat in it?

The Pobble Who had No Toes! Poor thing. I wouldn't want to be without my toes.

OP posts:
mittz · 02/09/2010 21:22

Hmm I don't think it does... I have to avoid it a bit

Yes, the Pobble and his Great aunt Jabiska-whatserface... I think I prefer Spike Milliganisms

I don't suppose I can call you Hammy can I?

I am going to bed.. and My laptop dies when away from this point so unless bastard insomnia comes calling I shall be returning in the morning..

No spinning on that wheel now Wink xx

HamsterPoo · 02/09/2010 21:47

I quitelike T.S. Eliot's practical cats.

No, not Hammy. Hamster is okay. Poo at a push.

I am avoiding wheat for at least a week because i'm all bloated and tired.

I'm off to sleep too, might not get back on til tomorrow evening. busy day.

Hugs xx

Dunno about up...the sky? Stars? Clouds'n'stuff?

OP posts:
Grockle · 07/09/2010 22:07

I'm tired and greedy. I need to not eat shite. If I stopped eating wheat, would it solve all my problems. And what would I eat? I am struggling enough as it is to feel. inspired and make food. I am living on toast and cereal.

Where's mittz?

Grockle · 07/09/2010 22:11

I would like to tell you about DS's lunchbox for tomorrow. He is taking (as requested)

yellow + red pepper sticks & bread sticks + dip
sundried tomato stuffed olives
pasta with aubergine & tomato sauce

Strange 4 yr old, he is.

HamsterPoo · 07/09/2010 23:09

Oh, how fabulous!! May he not be corrupted by frube'n'crisp-wielders...

Wheat I had to give up because I was so very bloaty and sleepy. I am doing quite a lot of cycling which seems to be helping me eat better, as long as I can override or pre-empt the sugar cravings Hmm
I confess, however, to eating tuna (rod and line caught) twice this week. I am expending so much energy that I think I really needed it, and felt better instantly after eating it.

Any change in diet takes thought though, otherwise I find I get to the handfuls-of-cereal stage. A slippery slope.

Mits is...um... ...hmm, don't know.

OP posts:
HamsterPoo · 10/09/2010 16:58

So, where is everybody? Hmm

Hello Meow :)

Tell him to fuck off. If he wants to do half the work, he can have half the money. But if he wants half the money, he has to pay for half the things...

HamsterPoo · 10/09/2010 21:24

Its the pressure all the time, like it's my fault if there isn't enough in thebank, because I have been spending recklessly on school uniform and bread and veg ffs.

OP posts:
HamsterPoo · 10/09/2010 21:25

Meow, please don't be scared off by my moaning...I'm not always like this...

OP posts:
SirBoobAlot · 10/09/2010 21:27

She is, Meow, always moaning about something... Wink

He's an arse of the highest order, chuck. You know you have been spending sensibly, so don't let him make you feel any other way.

Meow75 · 10/09/2010 21:28

I've been to the doc's after work tonight.

I have an ear infection, right side.
I also have conjunctivitis (pink-eye), right side to start but left is developing nicely!
I also have a fungal skin infection.

I have spent a fortune on bloody prescriptions tonight, have more drops and whatnot than I can shake a bloody great stick at.

The one saving grace was that I wasn't really in pain, and felt otherwise ok (no cold symptoms or anything). The pain is building in my ear, and the doc told me to expect a runny nose and the like by Sunday. Oh goody!!!

And, to top it all off, I've got some really CRAPPY classes to teach this year!!

Anyone got booze; DH is bringing the raspberry cheesecake!! Smile
