WTH is this?

Today I have been getting a shooting pain in the side of my right knee. It lasts for a couple of seconds and then goes. It is really painful. I have just had it about 5 times in the last few minutes and once in my thigh. I have to limp and the oain makes me feel sick.

Doesn't feel like sciatica - I had that when pregnant with dc1. I haven't twisted my knee though I have been having a lot of pain in my back.
