after 5 years you have your mirena coil taken out...can they put another straight in?

Its not due to come out for a while yet lol but the thought of not having one and having peroids again is quite horrifying!!

yes you can although it depends how easily it comes out. Occasionally the cervix may spasm and that can make immediate reinsertion more tricky.

eww lol!! Thanks. I was having an op when it got put in, so no pain and no periods whatso ever since ...fab !!

Don't know why Im thinking about it now lol, not due out till Approx April 2013 hahaha!! Was just wondering though
