He had 2 weeks of antibiotics
2 days off them
another 2 weeks on......day 13 & he has another chest infection

So I will speak to Papworth tomorrow & I guess get 2 more weeks of AB's

Rotten nasty bugs I wish they would go away

Upside down I can understand in an odd sort of way. DD3 was doing her usual arching her back struggling routine and was hanging off my lap upside down one day while I was doing percussion. We got the best cough out of it! But I don't think you could dangle your DH off your lap somehow!

Over the bannisters?

I can just see myself explaining to the paramedics "Well the physio suggested hanging him upside down for a bit....." as they cart him off to hospital

For DH the big issue is exhaustion - if he has an infection he struggles to stand,if he is lying down he can't move the mucus & it gets worse - it's his heart that is at risk then (But I don't know if that is because of his age)

That might work! Or over the edge of the bed. At least you could tell the paramedics it was because of something kinky. Wink

Seriously though it's so hard. I wish I had something useful to suggest. I don't know if it is his age as we had a similar situation when dd3 was only a few months old. Bad chest infection and only tiny so she could only lie down. Too ill to even learn to sit up but lying down made the mucus worse. They mentioned her heart then too, but not since thankfully.

That's it exactly

The bed isn't high enough & he is too bulky for other furniture Grin & as for over my lap - the hysteria starts Wink

He started his AB's yesterday after a massive row between GP/Pharmacy & hospital - apparently the hospital got the dosage wrong (too high) so they gave him some lower ones to be going on with
