sulphuric burps

I ate lots of kfc chicken yesterday - friend loved the chps and I liked the chicken better so we swapped so essentially I had a whole meal of chicken wings. I don't often eat chicken.

Today I have sulphuric burps and feel bloated. Am worried this is some sort of food poisoning and I am going to be sick sick sick and on the toilet. Or google also suggested -

Food Reasons for Sulfur Burps
?Some food may also cause sulfur burps. This is especially true in those with diets high in protein. The main culprit in food-related sulfur burps is hydrogen sulfide. If your stomach takes longer than normal to process and expel a meal high in protein, the lingering food can actually start to build up acid and cause a chemical reaction that creates hydrogen sulfide. This can also explain why someone suffering from sulfur burps may feel bloated. In these cases, the sulfur burps usually go away once the lingering protein and hydrogen sulfide is expelled.

What does MN think?

I think your guts might be suffering from protein overload! Protein has sulphur in it, and your stomach's probably just struggling to break it all down. Especially if you're not used to it...

Hope it clears up soon.
