does anyone know good hypnotherapist ( hypnosis is preferable to hypnotherapy) for weight loss??
I ve tried everything from WW to lighter life and diets, does not seem to work.
#Used hypnosis 15 years ago, it helped, but in the last 5 years it seemed have worn off, so need it again.
anyone knows anyone good , tried and tested?

I bought this F* Diets cd and I found it really works.
I bought it off the back of an interview with Lily Allen who credits this lady with helping her lose weight, was sceptical at first, but really noticed a difference in my eating habits without any effort after a few times listening to it.

Obv not so useful if you are only looking for a real life hypnotherapist rather than a cd, but worth giving a go if only because it's about £200 cheaper than a 1 to 1 session!

I'd love to know if this works as could do with losing a stone or so myself, and have no motivation, and find it difficult to stop eating.

Ive just bought it on your recomendation NW20 - need a kick start to my motivation - was asked at the weekend if I was pregnant and that didn't even work! lol

Ooh I hope it's a success for you. Like I said I was pretty sceptical at first, and when you first listen to it you do think what is this annoying load of rubbish, but ater a few listens it does really seem to make a difference.

I think you have to be fairly open to the whole thing anyway, if you are completely resistant to it it will never work. My friend recently spent £250 on a session with a hypnotherapist to try and stop smoking and it made absolutely no difference at all, whereas another friend went to the same person and never even had the urge to smoke at all afterwards.
The guy said you have to be in the right place and ready within yourself to make a change before it will work IYSWIM.

Sorry for the ramble!

Oh also, I found it works best if you can listen to it through earphones rather than speakers as it really blocks everything else out, so I put it on my Ipod and then passed the cd onto a friend to do the same!

I went to a hypnotherapist just the other day for help with weight loss, its a little early yet to tell if I have lost any weight, but have noticed a change in eating habits already, not had a biscuit or chocolate for 3 days which is a big help in my case. I paid £70 for 2 hours and am going back in a couple of weeks for help with other stuff. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing.
