I am recovering from a nasty chest infection that I caught while away in Devon, and was almost hospitalised with my asthma. (Asthma is usually very mild and only need the brown inhaler)
I am on my second lot of antibiotics (which I had to change due to a weird reaction to klarcid xl - severe stomach pains, odd taste in the mouth and nightmares!).
In myself I feel absolutely fine. Apart from a very rattly and grumbly chest, and sounding like I smoke 40 a day!
It seems to be a lot worse in the evenings, and at the moment my chest is pretty tight. Dont think the damp warm evening is helping much either! I thought it had gone away this morning, as my chest was feeling pretty clear, but its hit me hard this evening.
My antibiotics finish tomorrow as do my steroids, so should I take myself back again to the doctors on Monday?
Does this sound like the residual infection or asthma? I have never been a wheezy asthmatic and its really starting to get very boring indeed!
