my son has had one of these for about 9 months. originally told by GP to bathe in hot water which we did but it still remained. Took him back to GP last week and he referred him on to get it removed BUT the last couple of days it started to get flaky and tonight DS was rubbing it and it burst.....he now has a small hole with a yellow lump sticking out of it. Obviously it needs sorting urgently now as it is open but i have covered his eye with a patch and some sudocream and sent him to bed (DS has ASD so change in routine would be a huge problem!) so do i go to A&E tomorrow or do i leave till monday and go GP? anyone have any experience????? any help appreciated

I don't really know much about these, but because it is on his eye I would err on the side of caution, as an infection there would be quite nasty I imagine. So If you have a walk in centre anywhere near, you could try there, or pop into A&E.
