inflamed tonsils

Had a sore throat now for 2 weeks ranging from annoyingly sore to painful like swallowing razor blades.

My tonsils are imflamed but no white spots have appeared.

Have had a cold that came and then 4 days later was in bed for 2 days really unsell unable to move but a week later its really just throat - and a bit of nose stuff (TMI sorry!)

Anyone got any advice about what i can do as really annoying me now.

Get yourself some Manuka honey. It comes in different strengths so you might want to do some internet research. I can't remember what we were told to buy. Supposed to be good for fighting infections. My DS had tonsilitis and instead of antibiotics he was advised to take manuka honey as a hot drink (hot water, honey and lemon) or eat with porridge.
