swollen eye.

Stupidly i rubbed my eye last night and must have rubbed mascara into it.

it was very red and swollen, now its just swollen.

still feels like there is something in my eye
though i can't see anything?

what can i buy to give eyes a good rinse as water isn't working?

Go to your chemist/pharmacy and ask for an eyebath. It's about £4.00. I've just bought one today as I went to the doctors with a sore eye and found out i have a blocked tearduct. I was also prescribed some drops to use immediately after using the eyebath.

I would advise you to go to an optician and ask to have the eye looked at. You could have scratched the cornea or have a foreign body stuck in there. Best to err on the side of caution.
