Hello everyone - this message isn't for advice but to spread the word about a device I've found for sleep aid and PMT. Having been a sufferer of PMT and a bad sleeper for years - I want to shout this from the roof tops! I discovered by accident the Rio Light Mask. It uses light therapy, which some of you may know a little about. I'm not gonna go on about that here as it's complicated. Basically, you put the mask on for 15 minutes (preferably at bedtime, although I don't think this is essential) a day. It flashes pulsating red lights into your closed eyes then switches itself off. This might sound horrid and I thought I'd never get used to it but now I love it. I now sleep well. I have been a serial early waker (4.00 am) for years, but especially since I had my children. I now sleep well until 6.30 - 7.00. No, I don't work for the Rio Light Mask people and I'm not on commission! I just wanted to share this because I know that a lot of mothers of young children will be suffering like this. If you wake up in the night, you just put it back on. It doesn't work instantly - it took about 3 - 4 weeks for it to gradually get better. I've now been using it for about 4 months. It's dramatically hepled my PMT, which of course is exasperated by lack of sleep. All in all it's bloody brilliant. It's a bit on the expensive side at £40 and I'd recommend anyone who buys it to buy the mains charger (about a tenner I think) as the battery doesn't last long. I was so exhausted I'd have paid £400 for a solution. It's says it's good for migraine too but I can't comment on that as I don't suffer from them. If anyone wants to ask me anything, please do. Sally
