I had a laser loop. Had light bleeding for about a week. That was it. But I was also on the Pill at the time.

yawningmonster · 26/08/2005 23:01

I had laser loop also, think I bled for around 10 days.

Chocol8 · 28/08/2005 18:43

I bled for about a week, then thought I was ok and did some heavy lifting. It landed me up in hospital for 3 days as I clotted so badly. Take it easy, I would hate this to happen to anyone else. x

Twiglett · 28/08/2005 18:49

so 16 days and still going isn't fair then

sorry to bump this .. am vaguely (not hugely) concerned but following might be TMI

I still have light bleeding almost 3 weeks since procedure and am beginning to have dark clots.. certainly no more than one sanitary towel a day needed though

is this worth getting checked?

again apologies for TMI

about 4-5 weeks for me..not heavy all the time though but very very clotty!

EvesBigFatMama · 01/09/2005 21:20

sorry x post..i would maybe go to see nurse at gp surgery to check out or ring colposcopy at hosp and ask thier advise.
hope you are ok

Gomez · 01/09/2005 21:20

Phone and ask practice nurse perhaps? I bled for ages, as did my mum but we are both 'bleeders' IYKWIM - I think about 6 weeks for me. Lightly thou as you say.

Twiglett · 01/09/2005 21:31

Hi Twiglett...how are you now??any better?

MrsSpoon · 02/09/2005 20:52

Hope you are OK Twiglett.

If it's not TMI could someone enlighten me as to what a "loop" is?

EvesBigFatMama · 02/09/2005 21:06

removal of pre cancerous cells from inside our lady bits

MrsSpoon · 04/09/2005 14:00

Thanks EBFM, that doesn't sound so good, hope you are all OK.

I thought it was perhaps some new contraception I hadn't heard of.

EvesBigFatMama · 04/09/2005 20:18

its not nice but its better than the alternative

Twiglett · 05/09/2005 11:11
