Have you got any gaviscon/rennies ? Peppermint tea or extra strong mints ? Milk works for some people. Really recommend getting some almonds next time you shop. They are great

No, I've so far tried a nectarine, some dried banana and a yogurt. Confused

May have some peppermint tea somewhere????

Thankyou Smile

I boil some water and add about a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to a mug full. Take small sips and pull in air when you sip (make slurping noises) Grin It doesn't taste too nice but it will make you burp and, I find, that seems to shift the 'lump in the throat' feeling.

Good luck, I feel your pain Sad

Smile Thankyou, that was really helpful.

I hope you feel better soon.
