Pin prick like pains in legs and rest of body????

I have tiny,little pin pricks in my legs. It seems to be spreading and I'm getting the pin pricks in the rest of my body as well now.

It started after I had an early MC in June.

My GP just said that I didn't seem to be high risk for deep vein thrombosis and to see how it goes.

I'm wondering if I could be aneamic. (I had a MMC in feb as well so that could have affected things).

The only way I can describe the feeling is - it's like getting an insect caught in your trouser leg and wondering if it's biting at you.

Googling this comes up with the fact that I am either anxious or about to have a heart attack .

Anyone any ideas. i am booked with the GP on Monday.

I have had similar before, for me the rash was pinprick, but in clusters (albeit small clusters) and it spread up my leg and then onto other parts of my body. My doctor was quite concerned it could be something to do with my liver? or bladder? TBH I cant really remember, I just know I had to have urine tests to rule it out.

I didn't have whatever he was testing for, but I just air it as a possibility for you.

If you get worse, or are worried, please do contact your OOH doc, or if faint, in pain etc do go to A&E.

Many thanks for replying. Doctor thinks I may be aneamic (probably due to MC's). She is sending me for blood tests. Testing for loads of things like liver function, blood count, B12, thyroid etc etc.

Hopefully she will get to the bottom of it. Feel much calmer about it now i've seen her. She once again reminded me not to google my symptoms

Hi I know that this is an old post. But I'm experiencing the same thing. Pin prick feeling spreading over my body. Mine is post partum. Did you get any job with a diagnosis from your blood tests in the end? I'm really worrying. Thank you xx
