Bleeding piles, what have you done?

So, I have very sore piles, bleeding today, and started taking ointment from previous episode (unopened pack) and am hoping for best. Has anyone managed to get rid of them with just ointment, or have you tried to get them tied off, removed? Mine seem to be getting worse. I am fed up.

I had these during my last pg plus post natal after I had a section and you really really have my sympathy.

If you can keep your poo soft then they will shrink back and not bother you, so basically drink lots of water, eat a high fibre diet (fruit and veggies, if you eat whole grains then drink tons of water) and exercise, go for a walk each day, that type of thing.

Right now if you are a bit constipated then you need to take lactulose, you can get it from the chemist. It will make things soft until it heals but you may need to stay within dashing distance of a loo for a day or two.

Ointment etc deals with the symptoms but they will keep coming back if you are constipated. The only person I've known who needed to have them tied didn't eat veg at all.

it was good a couple of days but today started bleeding again.
i suspect the spicey thing i ate aggravated it.
i have a refrral but it will be mid sept.
i think they will burn them away.

i know the surgery will be very hard.

Anusol suppositories - work far better than cream IMHO
