I have received a request to have my DD vaccinated for Polio reinforcing, I am so scared to let her have this after reading about the Polio vaccines given to children between 1985 - 2000 which contained bovine serum and should have been withdrawn at the time due to BSE. I have absolutely no faith in any vaccinations due to being mis-lead by our past governments particularly the Conservatives. I live in fear that oneday my DD may develop vCJD after being given several doses of the polio drops which were suppose to have been withdrawn. I can't forgive the Conservative government for not acting sooner to protect my child and the millions of others who have been unlawfully exposed to BSE through vaccines. As early as 1985 the government knew that BSE could cross the species but they decided not to withdraw vaccines containing bovine serum, many children have gone on to die from vCJD as a result of there decisions.In 2010 they still have not got to grips with this serious public health issue, particularly concerning blood.
