Awful sodding bastard PMT

Honestly have felt ILL since Monday.

grumpy and bad tempered. and tearful.
can't concentrate at all, feeling restless
cramps

and now a horrid feeling of tension in my stomach - can only compare the feeling to how I feel before a job interview, which I've had all day

Period due tomorrow.

Surely this isn't normal goddamit. I've struggled to function in a normal manner for 4 days now. I'm not normally this bad, but it is getting noticeably worse as I get older.

Is there anything at all I can do about it?

I don't have any miracle cures but didn't want your thread to go unanswered without giving you lots of sympathy! I have months when I feel like that too. FWIW, I'm not that bad every month; I posted a similiar post to yours a few months ago when I felt like PMT was ruining my life. Since then I've had some much better months, as well as one or two bad ones.

I know lots of people use evening primrose oil capsules or other homeopathic remedies, but I think you need to take them for a while to see any benefit and I never feel I can justify the expense of buying them. But it might be worth a try.

Hope you start to feel a lot better tomorrow I sometimes find if I've had really bad PMT, I feel especially good and energetic the following week

TELL ME ABOUT IT. I have been feeling hideous all week - extreme fatigue, nauseous, blood sugar spiking and crashing all over the place, dizzy, water retention, the whole works.

I've tried most a suggested remedies in the past but haven't yet discovered a cure. Sorry I can't help but just wanted to say I feel your pain!
