Have done an advanced search on here but can't find much info.

Choosing between local dentist that does the mould and gel thing. Have seen some mums that have had it and results are good but takes a few weeks to do.
Also seen LA whitening on a cruise last year but results seem less white?

Now seen Hollywwod smile which is £100 less than the other two.

Anybody had any of these. Especially interested in Hollywood smile !

Had it done at dentists for £400. This year they have a 50% reduction- sod'd law.

I was pleased but had VERY yellow teeth- not through food/drink/smoking ( don't) but just my normal colour.
The benefit of going to the dentist is that they will check your gums and teeth first, and I had 2 follow up appts where she gave me more gel free, as I wasn't happy with the whitenss after using the first lot.

You have tobe quite careful with the gel as I got a tiny bit on my gums ( back of front teeth) and it did burn/make gum bleed.

You get a better result with the home one. The dentist will assess your teeth and then you get the trays made. The advantage to doing it at home is that you can a couple of years later if you want to do it again, just go and buy gel which is just over £100.

I had the dentist one with the trays made and so have a few of my friends. Very pleased with the results. It also has the advantage that you can buy the gel cheaply from the dentist and top up your whitening once every six months.
