Yep. Now. Don't screw about with your eyes. Did you tell gp it was an emergency?

StealthPolarBear · 04/08/2010 13:13

A&E definitely
anyone with you?

StealthPolarBear · 04/08/2010 13:14

can you call on your neighbours in an emergency?
Any MNers help - I'm in Durham?

CMOTdibbler · 04/08/2010 13:15

Possibly a migraine, but if you haven't had one before, or haven't had visual effects you need to see someone.

Does your GP not have an emergency/duty GP ? If not, then A&E

TrinityRhino · 04/08/2010 13:15

i'm near dumfries if I can help

buttonmoon78 · 04/08/2010 13:16

Good point. If you can't see you ought to make sure you get there safely. If you need to call an ambulance. It's what they're there for. Staffordshire here.

StealthPolarBear · 04/08/2010 13:20

hope she's on her way there

buttonmoon78 · 04/08/2010 13:22

Me too. Got early onset glaucoma in our family. Chronic rather than acute but it makes me rather paranoid about eyes.

DBennett · 04/08/2010 13:54

Without some more details it's hard to say what it might be and what to do.

It sounds most like labyrinthitis butnot enough details to be sure.

Hope it turns out well.

StealthPolarBear · 04/08/2010 16:31

please update us when you can, realise MN is probably not important at the moment but i am wonderng if you're ok

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 04/08/2010 19:53

Thankyou for carfing

StealthPolarBear · 04/08/2010 20:23

Hope it gets better very soon. I don't know a lot about MS, but glad you know what has caused it.

StealthPolarBear · 04/08/2010 20:24

you hvae been there for about 6 hours!

StealthPolarBear · 04/08/2010 20:24

7 rather, later than I thought

buttonmoon78 · 05/08/2010 05:06

Oh I'm so glad you went - I was worried too! Hope you'll be back on your non spinny feet soon

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 05/08/2010 15:56

Thankyou.

I popped to see the GP, she was more helpful and has given me something for vertigo, it's not kicked in yet though, if I clos one eye then this helps, the world slowly spins though. Having double vision is very good when I look into my purse and see so many pound coins though
