it doesn't hurt at all as have already had root canal done on it so no nerves to irritate, can it wait until I get home in a weeks time or should I try to see a dentist here?

I had a tooth fall apart on Christmas Day once and couldn't get an appointment til the first week of January. If it is not causing you any pain then I would wait.

They rebuilt it with a large filling that is more filling than tooth. It wasn't expensive. The only annoying thing is that you won't be able to keep your tongue off it!It shouldn't affect your holiday, enjoy the rest of it

It won't give you pain but have a look at it and if you can see any pink (the root filling) buy some temporary filling from the chemist) just to seal it over. This will stop bugs from your mouth getting down the root filling and causing problems later. If you can't see pink it is probably fine to leave but be careful of it not to break it further.
