Why does my neck/jaw hurt when I bend over?

It's like I can feel the pain draining into my jaw/around the glands whenever my head goes below my heart (which having 2 small children to pick up after is often)
Nothing is touching it, it's been going on for a few days now, and yet when I stand up there is a very slight dull ache in my jaw, kind of like my glands are thinking of coming up but nothing I can't deal with.

Can't get through to the doc to get an appt but am trying!
any ideas?

It could be referred pain from your sinuses. My dentist mentioned that some people have occasional pain which they think is related to tooth problems but it's because of their sinuses. He said that the condition used to be called "Monday morning toothache" in the days when the washing was done on Mondays, which meant bending over to pull the sheets off the beds.

If it's more in the side of your neck, it could be related to your Eustachian tubes, which can get blocked if you have a cold.

thanks huggly. Managed to get a cancellation as the pain when I bend is so bad I felt like I was going to pass out. She said I have slight stiffness and a fever so possibly fluey type illness starting and to take it easy
She asked if anything else ached and my ankles and wrists do, so she may be right, great.
