tingle in left shoulder blade

i have had a tingle in my left shoulder blade for the past few weeks now on and off anyone got any ideas b4 i rush off to the docs

I have had his on and off for last few years. GP said it was a trapped nerve in my neck or similar. I had a Swedish massage and it stopped for ages but have noticed it returning lately.
