DTs (20 months) have been miserable for a couple of days now.

They both have 4 molars coming through, but no temp and their cheeks are'nt even red, even their gums look fine and not sore.

I am not sure what to advise. Iam wary of saying "they are probably just teething" because I don't really believe such a thing exists .I am sure millions of mothers will disagree with me on that one, but that's dentists for you!
If you are still worried about them I would pay the doc a visit.

I hope they are back to their usual wee selves soon.

Any Nappy rash, waterfalls? Or diarrhoea? My ds got this when teething, I could tell by the smell of his poo

serah · 24/08/2005 23:16

Waterfalls... 2 days ago, I breathed a sigh of relief as DS's first 4 teeth had all cut. Today he has been a bogger. Then I noticed 2 other teeth are on their way. No temp. No red cheeks. No nothing.

Try Medised along with Ashton and Parsons if you suspect teething. Find that it really helps with my DS when he is teething. I know if he's not because I say "Parsnips?"(Ashtons and Parsons) and he opens his mouth if it is, and turns his head if its not!

Know what you mean about the "just teething". A lot used to be attributed to "just teething"! But that said, anyone who remembers cutting (or not) their wisdom teeth knows it bl**dy hurts!!

No diarrhoea or nappy rash, nothing at all except they are winging alot, especially DT1, she is throwing herself around in temoer, seems frustrated.
