A summer cold ?

I've had a bloody nose and dry throat with hoarse voice for a MONTH now. Its really bugging me!

Is this just a summer cold or some sort of allergy? Bought some antihistamines at the supermarket wondering whether to give them a try.

Don't want to waste doctors time but its beginning to get me down.

Any ideas really appreciated

If it has gone on for a month that would lean more to the 'seasonal allergy' rather than 'common cold' diagnosis. Try the antihistamines and, if they improve things, then you've got your answer. If it doesn't get better with hayfever cures then do see the doctor. Could be symptomatic of something else.

I took antihistamine today and no difference so far. I wonder if they have to 'build up' to work?
