clots period? {Tmi}

My periods have always been quite heavy and painfull, but today i felt a gush of blood when ive checked there was a large clot too?

should i be worried? as havent had this happen before.

Sorry if a bit gross.

Some periods can be quite 'clotty', I think generally that why we have cramps? It's the clots detaching...but no harm getting it checked out
