baba got a bad bad cough

with her cold and its causing her to choke and bring up the phelgm but she aint happy .. do i just put up with it or get summat (she is 10 months old)

I could be wrong but I dont think you can get cough syrups for under ones, you could try putting her in a steamy bathroom, putting eucalyptus on a flannel in her room etc to help decongest her and perhaps raise the end of her bed to help her breath at nite.

well i gave her a bath last nite so it could be coming up now (or not!)

can anyone help pls??

We have recently discovered a Boots Vaporiser which I wish we'd had when dd was younger as whenever she gets a cold she is prone to coughing so hard she is sick. It releases natural blend of aromas which help loosen the mucus. Her head end of the mattress is prermannetly raised by pillows beneath but we used Ikea toilet stepstools under the cot feet when she was younger (she's now almost 4).

If it is persistent (week or two) and/or the phlegm is a nasty colour you should see gp to check for infection.
