yet another flare up of teitzes and painkillers make me feel ill, really just want a moan.

I suffer from teitzes which is where the tissue connecting your ribs to your breast bone becomes inflammed pushing the rib out. it effects all of my ribs and is agony. it effects my breathing and my grip and mobility in my arms. doc has prescribed higher dose painkillers, i am having a particularly bad flare up at the mo and the painkillers are making me feel sick and lightheaded. i feel like im falling apart. im sick of being ill all the time.

I'm so sorry you're having a bad time, it must be awful for you. I was a Dr for 35 years and never saw anyone with this. You must feel very unlucky. Are you eating? Sometimes strong painkillers have more side effects on an empty stomach. I hope you soon feel better. Good luck

thank you. ive eaten but they are so strong that they make me feel all disorientated. it is quite rare and there is nothing they can do apart from dose me up.

have you tried acupuncture or tens? could that help you?

i havent, i am going to see my gp on monday, i cant go on like this!

definately have to go to gp tomorrow, it hurts so much. think i'll have to bite the bullet and get an injection and/or another xray
