Help me stop smoking for ever!

Ok, this is my fifth attempt I think. I stopped in 2004 for almost three years and since then have been stopping and starting like a sodding yo yo. The last time I managed three months until May and then I went on holiday and buggered it all up again!! So, I use patches and inhalator which really do help, but I need that little extra push. Today is day one (again) and i absolutley have to do it this time. DD4 told me I had to stop smoking or 'you will die mummy' which should be the most powerful tool...We're off on holiday again at the end of August and I need to NOT pick it up there again.

Ta muchly in advance!

my friend died of lung cancer, slowly and painfully. She was 41. Left behind 3 kids.

loads of luck, and take one day at a time.

Have you tried Paul McKenna? It worked for me, might be worth a shot.

My DH stopped and has never restarted by going to bed and eating only fruit for a weekend and drinking water (it removes the toxins and craving for nicotine).

I had hypnotherapy when I was 22 (eight years ago) and haven't smoked since. Worth a try, pricey though!

Thanks! yep am using patches and inhalator, eating really 'good' stuff and breathing alot! Also maintaining swimming and thinking dark thoughts about hideous illnesses... Day 3!
