wise people.....how bad does a nose bleed have to be before you consider casualty.
ds(5) has had 2 huge bleeds today-one awake and one asleep. I checked him before I went to bed...fine...but has had a huge bleed in his sleep-sopping t shirt front and back, chucking pillow away etc. Stopped for now....if it happens again in night what would you do?

I used to have huge nosebleeds as a child to no apparent I'll effect. I would be standing over the sink for half an hour to 45 mins at a time.

It would leave me pale looking and if it was a big one I would need to rest for an hour or so to recover.

So I would not worry too much. If he becomes hard to rouse or dizzy you should probably seek help immediately. Have you discussed it with your GP?
