Have been posting around mn about my newly found 'honeymoon freshness' but am actually quite worried.
Had dd 6.5 months ago. Have only had sex 3 times since as very painful. Have also had problems with insertion of tampons.
I had a look with a mirror last week and found a strange lump, pea sized, in my vagina, right at the bottom, it seemed attached to a weird sticky out lumpy bit. I'm afraid I attacked said lump with a needle and it burst (no pain at all though) and a strange brown paste came out.
I went to the drs and she has said the strange weird bits inside the vagina at the bottom are due to the episiotomy. She thinks the lump itself was a cyst and nothing to worry about. But she did an internal and said she thinks I was sewn too tight. A nurse looked the day before and said she saw another lump inside, but the dr said not to worry about it. Dr has done tests for infection and various blood tests but also said that I need to see a gynae so is sending an appt through.
Is this quite common? How do they 'fix' it? Why would the cysts, if thats what they're called, come?
Any help or advice from anyone who has been through it much appreciated.
