in the words from Ab Fab, "isn't to be sniffed at Darling"

Makes no difference to weight loss, you might lose the odd pound but otherwise not.
No nasty side effects, it doesn't hurt.
I've had it twice.

Have a look at the thread I started recently
Colonics.

thanks for replies,
it states on several websites that the average person holds around 5-25lb of faecal (spelt wrong) matter in their intestines...
although im not doing it to lose weight but to feel less bloated

You'll find you've lost a bit but it's not a true weight loss

People do not hold 5-25lbs of faecal matter in their guts unless they're very seriously constipated... in which case you'd need a doctor rather than some quack hose-piping your derriere. Food takes about 8 hours from being consumed to reappearing at the other end if you've got a healthy digestion. Your colon is actually one of the cleanest organs in your body.

If you feel bloated then make changes to your diet.... less meat & fatty foods, more pulses & vegetables....fewer 'white' starchy carbohydrates and more wholegrain foods..... fewer big meals or skipped meals, more of a 'little and often' regular approach.... drink a lot more plain fluids like water and herb teas & less carbonated fizz, alcohol & caffeine... eat a lot less salt (and ready-made/packaged foods by definition).... take regular exercise.

If you did the above you'd lose weight as well.
