If so, how does it affect you?

I'm on a very low dose for general anxiety and I'm nervous about drinking but oh, how I would love a glass of wine tonight!

How long have you been taking it coco, if you don't mind me asking? Is it helping you?

It's all very new to me.

Ummm about 4 months now, I take 20mg for general anxiety and it has helped loads.

The first few weeks were a bit up and down I changed from morning to night as I was very tired, but it's great.

JustKeepSwimming · 22/07/2010 18:23

I was on 5mg a day and was fine with the odd glass (which increased as tine went on and i was still fine).

cocolepew · 22/07/2010 18:23

Oh and wave bye bye to your sex drive...

LadyCad · 22/07/2010 18:23

I've been on it for about 3 weeks and I yawn a lot.

I mean loads.

Seems to be helping though.

I had the yawning too, it does wear off

KurriKurri · 22/07/2010 19:34

I've been on 20mg a day for just over a year. I yawn like a dog. I do have the odd drink with no obvious ill effects, and was told the occasional drink was fine so I'd say go for your glass of wine and enjoy it.

It took about 6 weeks for me to settle into it, but I has helped me. Sex drive Coco - what's that??

Thanks all. I stayed off the wine tonight but I'm going for a glass tomorrow night after a week of sports days and leavers assemblies and plays and parties and...and...
