Hi guys

The PAA is holding another conference on Saturday 17th September at Woburn Safari Park info here

Last year's conference was really interesting and had some excellent speakers .. dermatologists and rheumatologists

It is a free conference and they provide childcare and lunch

If you are interested you just need to register in advance and get a pass .. form / email on website

would anyone mind giving me some advice???
My mum is convinced i have PA.
I have V. mild occasional patches of dry skin and have been suffering mildly from aches in my wrists, hips and knees.

Mum suffers badly with PA and says its hereditory.

I hate docs but should i ask for the test or am i worrying over nothing?? If treated as early as poss results are better so not sure. don't want to look like a hypercondriact (not got a clue if thats spelt right)

Sorry to crash this thread.

yes its hereditary but you have something like a 5% chance

just cos you have psoriasis doesn't mean you'll get PsA .. not clear if you have psoriasis to being with tbh

but yes if you have aches and pains I'd get some blood work done just to check your ESR

(although more likely its an age / weight / strain related thing from what you say)
