i used to be on this pill, i came off it for a good year during which time my DH and i used condoms.
because of the faff i have ended up going back on it.

when i was on it the first time, i never had a period, but i cant remember really what i felt like on it.

this time ive had annoying low level bleeding almost constantly, and i have absolutely no desire to have any sex anyway.

is this the pill? will this get better if i just persevere with it? i cant remember feeling like this the first time i was on it.

I am on cerazette. I had low level spotting/bleeding for about 6 weeks, along with HIDEOUS PMT, weepiness, mood swings, but then it all seemed to go away and I've had no problems (or periods) since.

ive had no pmt at all, just constant bleeding for 3 months and no sex drive at all. ive gone from 60 - 0 in the space of 3 months. my poor dh couldnt keep up. now i cant be arsed.

I had periods every other week and no sex drive, am back on the combined pill and feel fine again.

I was told all probs would clear up within 3 months, but that didn't happen for me.

Also, I think, the injection will often have the same side effects? I say this as my doc recommended mini pill prior to injection to check it suited me.

id never have depo or implanon. at least with this i know i can stop it whenever i like.
which will be soon if this doesnt sort itself out.

I was fine on cerazette whilst bf but then had exactly what you describe re bleeding once I stopped bf. Back on it again now as bf again but will be interested to see what happens once I cut down bf further.

its just so annoying. its not a period, but its not light enough to ignore. im having to use light sanitary protection all the time and its just getting me down.

i just really cannot remember being like this the first time i was on it, though saying that i thought no sex drive for me was normal. when i came off it i found out it wasnt. but my dh is a lazy arse and even gave me responsibility for condom usage....devil and deep blue sea.
when i wanted sex it was my responsibilty
now i dont want sex its still my responsibility.

im gonna see how long he can last wtihout before he goes to find out about vasectomy.

i bled nearly constantly on Cerazette. no sex drive. spots. mood swings.

same on the Mirena.
