just need to dump this here, no responses necessary, but i feel the need to scream.
exh just got in touch as wants to see dd overnight on 7th august. he normally sees her every 5 weeks for 5 hours (i may have mentioned this before ).
anyway, dp asked him if he'd like to see his dd every two weeks like hes supposed to, apparently "things are very tight financially. Obviously as soon as i am able to i will be wanting to see her more"
He didnt come to her school play, her prize giving, her sports day, her swimming gala, nothing.
Hes been using the 'no money' line now for over a year. So in A YEAR he has seen his daughter 12 times, and twice of those either we or my parents drove her down to him. (he chose to move 200 miles away)
if he would just fuck off totally then fine, but he wont. he just appears every fucking five weeks and then at christmas says he should 'have her' on christmas day. oh and then lets her down by not turning up on boxing day etc etc
AND, THIS BIT REALLY ANNOYS ME, when he comes up he takes her to the sealife centre (circa £60 for the 3 of them, dont ask but his father comes up EVERY TIME) then last time he came up he took her to hatton country farm i think its called which would have been easy £100 for the day. We've told him of loads of free/cheap places near here with animals etc he could take her to but no. Then he buys her 4 x soft toys at least, 4 x random stupid toys that are ignored within seconds and lunch out, never sandwiches he's made!
im trying to say that if he lived how we have to - packed lunches, days at cheap places out etc he could afford to come up every two weeks!! Oh and he said he couldnt afford to come up to see his dd then the next week went to florence with his girlfriend.
