This is a bit grim so sorry

My last 2 AF's have been quite different. At the very begining of it I pass alot of clots which I have never noticed before. Obviously I do pass them but normally notice around day 2/3.

My AF came yesterday evening and this morning I felt a bit weak and very bloated, more than normal. I did get completly hammered last night I might add but was not suffering with any hangover symptoms like I can do. Dh thinks that may have caused the clots. I don't agree at all.

Has anyone else had this or can anyone offer any advice? I can be a hypocondriac at times but these last 2 periods especially this one isn't like normal.

if they're not normal for you then you should see a doc. That would sound perfectly normal to me (remember my bramble jelly thread)

I have clots too Nbg, I wouldn't worry too much!!! I always suffer with bloating too, thats what I hate the most of all because I look about 5 months pregnant and that is no word of a lie!!!!

I also get terrible pmt in fact I have it now because I have been shouting at the kids over silly things today and have felt quite upset about it.

Maybe it might be worth a trip to the Dr's then.

I know that most people get clots but I never really see them IYKWIM. It's every time I have been to the loo and they're there.

I've actually seen them in the bath, sounds disgusting I know!!!! Don't really worry me though.

I sometimes get a sharp pain straight up me whilst I am having my period, it feels like I have sat on something very sharp and very long

You've put me at ease now, thanks!

I get so panicky over some things, it's ridiculous.

I'm a worrier too!!! Worry about my dp the most though when he gets ill I think he could die at any moment, all sorts go through my head!!!

Flossam · 21/08/2005 23:03

One bloated clotter sat here too! I've found my AF has changed since having DS. Have you stopped BF/ come off pill etc etc at all recently?

Nbg · 21/08/2005 23:03

I think it's worse when I'm on my own. If dh was here I don't think it would bother me that much.

I really need to get a grip sometimes and get some perspective, lol!

Oh god I worry so much when dp is not around....when I am in my own company I seem to panic at every little noise I hear on the baby monitor. We still have one and our children are 3 and 5, dp insists on it but I find it makes you more jumpy!!!

hi Nbg sorry to be personal but are you and dh trying for a baby?? I had this once when dh and I were trying for our first and I think I may have had a miscarriage as it was so bad. If you aren't and you feel they arent normal then go see your G.P. take care.
