First period after birth - NEVER-ENDING

Hello,

Just quick check if that's normal - after second child (4 1/2 months) having first peroid. It is now 27 DAYS!!! and going strong. After first child it was 23 days and mild bleeding, now fairly heavy and tummy cramps like first day of period.

Am wrecked, never mind looking after two (lovely) babas.

I had extensive femoral clot in first (successful) pregnancy and was on clexane but that's stopped six weeks after the last pregnancy, so shouldn't affect anything now (2 m/c before first).

Last time I saw a practice nurse who had not much to say, but it stopped soon after that appointment.
No appointment now before two weeks. Hope finished by then - but in the meantime - anyone had/having same problem?

tbh i think you need to insist on an emergancy appt.

if you insist they have to give you one... i dont think you should wait another 2 weeks

Would have an emergency appt with the GP asap and this may require assistance from a gynae. Such bleeding is not normal at all and you cannot be expected to wait another two weeks!. Given your history as well this is another good reason for them to see you a damn sight quicker.
