I don't want to go.

Have had terrible soreness and itchiness down below for weeks. It's not thrush and I'm not sure it's cystitis (doesn't hurt weeing, does hurt having sex). Everyhting just seems swollen. I posted a few weeks back about it all starting when DP got some aloe vera toilet paper. Not using it any more, but the itchiness is still there and is worse if anything.

Now I've finally booked a doc's appointment (female one, phew) and she's gonna have to look at my fanjo and I'm bricking it.

Oops, yes I think you are right Piratecat. When I had thrush last, I got the tablet and the cream and dh had to use the cream too - there was no tablet for dh - my mistake.

If it's any help on the embarrasment level, i had to have the lettz (? sp) treatment after a colposcopy examination and lucky me, i was one of the 'very few' who got an infection.. the worst sign of this is a charmingly described 'offensive odour' and it was so horrid i drove to the 'wimmins ward' at hospital at night and had to be examnied by the male docor and male student doctor (female nurse present' and before the examination even started the doctor said' yes, it's definately an nfection, there is a quite an offensive odour..' and the fuckin student doctor had to have two goes at an examination.. they were very prooffesional but it is the ony time (even after have dc's) that i have left sme sort of hospital appointment and cried. it was sooo humiliating.

Could be an idea to avoid any body washes containing chemicals, I use Jason's organic bodywash.
