got results about producing milk not pregnant...high oestradiol?

All my levels were fine (including importantly prolactin) but my oestradiol was very high- 2456 (the range goes up to 1828) GP says he 'doesnt know of anything sinister' that it could be, just going to have repeat bloods in a month or so.

Of course I have been googling myself, and I was wondering about PMS C (craving) which symptoms are headaches, incresed appetite, dizziness, high oestrogen, irregular periods- I have all of this. Only other thing I have found is that high oestrogen isnt good cancer wise- inrcreases risk. Odd really, but glad no tumour in my head!!

Have you had any internal examinations or scans yet?
You could potentially have developed an ovarian cyst which is producing the hormone. It might me worth asking for an ultrasound scan of your ovaries if the levels remain high when repeated.

oh right, hadnt come across that one. No, no internals or scans. Guess I'll wait and see what the next results say
