Any recommendations for a place to buy shoes/socks for severly swollen feet/legs

Dad has diabetic neuropathy, a not clearing very ,large DVT, and is possibly in heart failure (having echo this week). This has left him with one very, very swollen leg and foot, and the other is also swollen.

Currently, he is wearing a bedsock on one leg, a knitted sock on the other, and some velcro slipper things when out (he can't walk far at all. But it's my brothers wedding in 2 months, and Dad needs some respectable shoes for that.

I can see various places on the web that do shoes for swollen feet, but does anyone have any words of wisdom as to any that are good ?

Need to be as soft, wide, and high as possible as his feet are so painful

We have a Red Cross shop nearby which sells mobility aids, extra wide slippers etc...I think it is a called a Disability Living shop. I would think they are the sort of people who could advise. Might be worth googling.

Thanks - had a look at them online, and seems they only do slippers, and the soft top socks that aren't big enough for his bad leg. But I'll see if they have any ideas
