How much does your PMS vary?

Mine is generally a deterioration in mood (shorter temper and more prone to tears than usual) and some breast tenderness.

This month I have completely lost the plot emotionally and my breasts are agony.

Am starting to worry that I must be pg, but that's really very unlikely. Only slight possibilty was the day before the breast pain started and that wasn't even full sex.

This has been going on for 10 days already and AF not due for another 3.

Can anyone tell me there's another reason for the increased symptoms?

You haven't said your age lisbey but I do know that my symptoms have got worse as I've got older - so much so that I was half wondering if I could go on the pill for a few months to give DH myself a break from psycho time

Sorry should add I'm 40

Thanks Lima - I'm 40 too!

I always did have terrible symptoms, but they got loads better after I had DS1 (10 years ago). In the last year or they seem to have got much worse again.

I thought the pill might help too, but was told it can often make PMS worse....
