But this thread isn't about the Royals and you're just derailing it for everyone who was enjoying a bit of light relief. Go and be tedious somewhere else.

Most of the expenses in the expenses scandal were totally above board but that didn't stop people criticising the MPs who claimed. Totally above board is never a defence when the left-wing moralisers get sniff of a Tory and money.

Tories gave contract worth millions to their mates. Is that acceptable to you? Are you a tory mate?

He declared it though? And it's within the law? Ok great all sorted.

Actually there is a time limit to accept these gifts and Sir Keir missed the deadline for reporting many of these gifts. They were reported months after the deadline. Very worrying if he can't meet such a simple personal deadline how will he run the country?

CassieMaddox · 02/07/2024 22:02

He only washes his hair once a week on wash'n'set Friday, and tells his colleagues he's leaving early because he's having dinner with his family instead of going to the hairdressers.

You heard it here first 🤫

Could be worse - he could have given a tory supported £50,000 to supply useless PPE to NHS staff and be leader of the party that did that and in power.

KS balances a new loo roll on top of the carboard tube of the old one

So the best sleaze that the Tories have been able to dig up on Starmer is:

a) he likes to have Friday night dinners with his family; and

b) he has accepted gifts that he is allowed to accept and recorded and declared them in the proper way. Much of the £76K seems to involve his obsession withArsenal.

God what a slimeball he is.

@voteOutToHelpOut He didn't report them in the proper way though. He reported them between 1-2 months past the deadline for reporting. How is that the proper way?

ghostyslovesheets · 02/07/2024 22:08

He doesn't separate whites from darks

BobnLen · 02/07/2024 22:08

They are just perks, they all get them, from all the parties, several will pop up at Wimbledon.

If that's the best you can do after 14 years of tory mismanagement, bungs and economic disaster - I think we are good - roll on Thursday

He once nicked vegetables off Jeremy Corbyn's allotment and used them in his friday night stir fry veg dinner.

LostAllMySocks · 02/07/2024 22:14

God bless the man, if he gets us out of this chaos I will send him something too.

Maybe he will seek advise of your buddy Farage when he become the PM 😉

He licks pick n mix sweets then puts them back

MadameMassiveSalad · 02/07/2024 22:18

He leaves his washing out on the line overnight & uses a toilet brush!

user1471453601 · 02/07/2024 22:19

This is getting funny now. Keir accepts stuff that he declares, and he says he's like to clock off at 6:00pm on Friday to spend time with his family? The swine 😀. Just because he is offering us another way? he's staying at d day to recognise that it was allies that won, and no one in labour camp bet on something they had insider information on, some have to manufacture reasons to denigrate him?

It don't work on me.

Chocoloca · 02/07/2024 22:19

He practise guitar music every night for next year's Glastonbury, his neighbours can't sleep .

Franzkafkascat · 02/07/2024 22:20

Or like Jezza Hunt he could have donated £32,000 to his local party to fund his campaign
Or like ‘honest’ Robert Jenrick who charged taxpayers more than £100,000 for "a third home" in his constituency of Newark, that he appeared to use only rarely. Or the way he dealt with Tory donor Richard Desmond and his unlawful approval of Westferry housing development which lost the council £30-50 million in an infrastructure levy payable to the local council.

dunroamingfornow · 02/07/2024 22:21

Give it up now. Anyone could look like a saint next to the current incumbent
