Proxy vote advice

DS applied for a proxy vote about a week before the deadline & hasn't heard anything. Anyone know how you find out if its been accepted. We've never had to apply for one before.

He put me down as his proxy, will the polling station have a record of this even if we don't hear anything?

Call or email the council and ask for an update.

You need a proxy polling card.

My council sent me an email confirmation of dd's proxy then a letter by post. Only got the polling card today so they're cutting it a bit fine.

Your ds needs to ring them and check. You may also be able to ring them yourself.
