Although anyone who knowingly employs a firm endorsed by Boris Johnson probably needs their head looking at ...

Personally I see this as laying the ground for a "why did Reform not get any seats" whingefest.

Reform Ltd are keen to demonstrate they are as stupid as the Tory party they were spawned from.

Can you summarise because it’s behind a paywall

It turns out a significant number of their candidates are BNP supporters, hitler fans, and conspiracy theorists.

Reform are blaming this in a stitch up by the vetting company rather than having a good look in a mirror.

I would have told them that for free.

About as credible as the suggestion Rishi Sunak is being advised by Labour sympathisers.

It is pretty evident that Sunk is not being advised.

Reform paid a vetting company £144k to vet their candidates. This company is co-owned by a former advisor to Boris Johnson/the Tory party.

Several candidates have since been outed by the press for having said some ‘inadvisable’ things on social media in the past. Farage would like his money back.

You’d have thought that the fact that they are standing for reform would give enough of a clue that they probably have something deeply unpleasant hiding in their social media past. They usually do.

RafaistheKingofClay · 18/06/2024 19:23

Wasn’t it only the other day that Tice was telling the media that reform were relying on them to do the vetting because the election had taken them by surprise.

Thingscanonlygetsunk · 18/06/2024 19:26

Do we know if they have vetted Farage?

after watching house of cards tv series as a guide who knows what tricks are being used

HowardTJMoon · 18/06/2024 21:02

I don't see what Reform are complaining about. The vetting company confirmed that as the prospective candidates were a bunch of bigots, nutters and/or conspiracy theorists, they'd fit right in.

Anniegetyourgun · 18/06/2024 22:07

Yes, I thought it was a prerequisite.
