Moving house the week before the election - what do we do?!

Will we be able to register at the new address in time? If not, would we be allowed to vote under our old address? Really don't want to get lost in a bureaucratic black hole here! Any advice much appreciated.

Postal vote and send it in early.

I'd do a postal vote

We had this in 2005 and did a postal vote at the old address.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like a postal vote is the best plan. I really wish we could have moved and registered at the new address in time. They've got a great candidate in that constituency who I would 100% have voted for. Our current constituency has a rubbish selection!
