Wondering if anyone wanted to discuss the issues being raised on political podcasts in the run up to the election.

I’m a big fan of The Rest is Politics and also listen to Political Currency, I like that both have the opposing views so you can have a more balanced discussion - not sure if I’d listen to TRIP if the original proposed line up had gone ahead - Alastair v Dominic Cummings 😱

I thought today’s TRIP was good, interesting g to hear that both Alastair and Rory actually like the idea of a form of National Service - just not what has been proposed by Sunak.

Haven’t caught up on this week’s EMQs from Political Currency yet.

I like The Rest is Politics and their spin-off Leading (although I tend to pick and chose the ones I listen to based on what I’m interested in).

I also listen to Electoral Dysfunction and enjoy it.

I can’t get on with Political Currency to be honest. I should maybe give it another go.

I may need to stop working as there are too many to listen too. I like all above mentioned I do coffee house shots the spectator one to get the right wing view and am a left. ED is great and TRIP my two weird crushes in one is ace. Not another one I’m giving a shot as I do respect Steve Richard’s but the one I rarely enjoy is newscast.

I like How to win an election. I see the rest is politics is doing a post decade one tomorrow which’ll be good. I loathe Campbell but like Stuart.

Politics without the boring bits I love Matt Chorley
How to win an election
The rest is politics

For the many is good - Iain Dale and Jackie Smith
Planet normal if you want something right leaning (good interview with Farage this week)
Spiked if you want something alternative

I really like TRIP and like both Campbell and Stewart. I also regularly listen to The News Agents with Emily Maitlis, Jon Sopel, and Lewis Goodall it's on every day whereas TRIP is on a few times each week. I'm a left leaning centrist and find these pods informative and take a balanced aporoach.

Not Another One is really good new one. Also like Electoral Dysfunction and How To Win an Election. The News Agents is good though I do find them a bit smug sometimes. Can't bear Alistair Campbell so don't listen to TRIP.
