Hi, have posted this in "Adoptions" but thought I may be more likely to get a response here as no-one's replied yet.
I found out about a year ago that the man I thought was my biological father is not and that I am in fact the result of a short fling my mum had whilst away from home.
I don't want to go over the whole story just now but I just wondered if anyone had had any success in finding a biological father with limited information?
What I know is: his name (although unsure of the spelling angry , the town he was living in at the time, the kind of job he was doing, his approximate age (early 60s now).
Obviously adoption people can't help me, his name's not on my birth certificate and I basically don't want to drag this all up (my siblings don't know and although my dad knows about the affair and him and my mum split a few years ago we haven't talked about it) if it's going to be completely fruitless.
Any experiences, positive or negative, are welcome, thanks in advance.
