I had an ancestry trial a while ago and one side of the family I’m really struggling with and I can’t afford the full membership

this is the info I have from a relative
“your grandparent was Mary (molly) Riley and her dad (this is who I need the name of!) was the youngest son of the Riley car owners”

I think for anyone to offer any help, you would need to put some rough dates and suggested places/where they lived. Was Riley her maiden name or married name, not much info to go on really ?

Riley was her maiden name and this is the details I have
it’s her father I can’t find. I believe her mother was surname Cooper
I have found some info on the Riley cars which has been interesting but not got me much further without a full ancestry membership

The youngest son of the car owners was Cecil (William Thomas Cecil), born in 1895 in Keresley.

i think I’m going to have to get a full ancestry as I can’t find anything about the daughter (my grandmother)

my mums side was so easy but my parent doesn’t know the grandparent names and neither does anyone else in the family

for £3 you can get a digital image of her birth certificate from the General Register Office which should list the fathers name

im going to do more when I’m home but my dad is wet eyed. I have the names and my grandmothers first name is bizarrely my middle name
he is with his brother for the first time in 40 years tonight so it has come at an amazing time

Just to add to the above, I have located the 1921 census which shows her parents and her four older siblings.
